It started in 2022, when our founder Femi was juggling multiple clients as an independent consultant. Between tracking hours in one spreadsheet, managing expenses in another, and creating invoices in yet another tool, something had to give.
The breaking point came during tax season — hours spent reconciling data across systems, with no clear picture of actual profitability. There had to be a better way.
So we built ContractWise: one connected platform where timesheets flow into invoices, expenses are tracked in context, and financial forecasting actually works. Everything a modern contractor needs, nothing they don't.
